Unreal Engine Landscape: work in progress

I really like the Noise tool when sculpting a Landscape from scratch, it gives it a more realistic look which you can't get by manually sculpting the ground. It just looks better, in my opinion.


I wanted to use an original shader for the lake water in my first Landscape project, so I started with some simple nodes as you can see here:


And then I gradually made it a bit more complicated, using the Comment boxes to keep it tidy and easy to understand. I used the Motion_4way_Chaos equation from the Engine to give the shader some light movement to simulate lake water.



Then I created a procedural Landscape material with a rock texture and a grass texture based on terrain slope:
